Upon graduating from Duquesne University, Robert began as an associate attorney with Saperston & Day, P.C., working for, or on behalf of, major insurance carriers in the firm’s Insurance Defense and Coverage Departments.

In 1995, Robert joined Attorney Alan Bernstein, and started the personal injury law firm of Bernstein & Maranto, In 1997, Bernstein & Maranto, LLP merged with the law firm of Andrews, Sanchez, Amigone, Mattrey & Marshall. Robert was named the firm’s youngest partner that same year. In 1999, at the age of 32, Robert became a named partner in the laws firm of Andrews, Bernstein & Maranto, LLP, along with Benjamin J. Andrews and Alan L. Bernstein, one of the founding partners of Cellino and Barnes.

Robert focuses his practice on all areas of personal injury and has achieved multi-million-dollar verdicts and/or settlements throughout his legal career.

Mr. Maranto, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, received his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after completing his undergraduate studies at Canisius College. While studying at Duquesne, Robert was the Associate Editor of the Duquesne University Law Review and was in the top 20% of his graduating class. He has been consistently named by his peers in the annual publication of Super Lawyers.
